Okatie, SC (May 3, 2010) —Beaufort-Jasper Water & Sewer Authority is recognizing National Drinking Water Week 2010 by holding its annual Customer Appreciation event this week. This is an annual celebration of our most precious natural resource and recognition of all our customers. This year’s Drinking Water Week focuses on what “Only Tap Water Delivers,” drawing special attention to drinking water quality, water efficiency, and the importance of water infrastructure.
Customers are invited to stop by at the BJWSA Administrative Building located at 6 Snake Road in Okatie for light refreshments. Staff members will also be available to answer questions about BJWSA and our drinking water. Activities begin daily at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.
