New to the area and want to start services or building a home and need to connect to our system? Please complete our online application to establish a new account.
All applicable fees will be collected or payment arrangements made before your meter is installed. Your total fees depend upon the size of the meter, and if the service is for water and/or wastewater. You are responsible for installing the pipelines on your property, from your home to the water meter and to our wastewater pipeline.
If you are building a home, you are responsible for all pertinent capacity fees. To establish an account, there is a one-time service charge in the amount of $25 for first time customers or $20 for service transfers and a service deposit charge in the amount of $150. The service deposit can be waived in some situations; contact Customer Service for more information.
You must ensure that all inside and outside water faucets or connections to appliances are turned off before service is started. You will receive your first water and/or sewer bill about one month after we receive your application.
Call 811 before you or someone you hire starts digging on your property — for a landscape project, swimming pool installation or other project. South Carolina law requires that you call at least three full working days (not including the day of the call) prior to beginning excavation. See the SC811 website for more information.
